Ogden is a city located in the northern section of the state of Utah.
The city is the county seat and is located in Weber County, Utah.
Ogden was originally formed in 1844 and named Fort Buenaventura. It was incorporated as Ogden in 1851.
The Ogden and Weber Rivers meet just west of the city.
As of 2005, the population of Ogden was 81,605.
